Common help topics.

Quick answers to the things people ask us most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, the FAQ on the homepage covers more, and we're always an email away.

Exporting your data

Open Settings → Export. Save the file via AirDrop, email it to yourself, or stash it in Files. Keep a copy somewhere safe — there's no cloud backup we can recover for you.

Moving to a new phone

Export from the old device, install TeenCycle on the new one, then use Settings → Import to bring your history across. Done.

Turning on dark mode

One toggle in Settings → Appearance swaps the whole app to a warm charcoal theme. Everything else stays exactly where it was.

Refunds & billing

Purchases run through Apple or Google, so refund requests need to go through them — but if something's wrong with the app, email us first and we'll try to fix it.

Notifications & reminders

All reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Toggle them on or off in Settings → Notifications — they never round-trip through a server.

Deleting everything

Use Settings → Reset to wipe all data, or simply uninstall the app. There's no remote copy, so once it's gone it's gone — export first if you want to keep it.

If TeenCycle is misbehaving, a few quick checks resolve most issues on their own. Try these first — if the problem sticks around, drop us a note and we'll dig in.

  1. Force-quit and reopen. Swipe TeenCycle out of your recent apps, then launch it fresh. This clears most transient glitches.
  2. Restart your device. A full reboot resolves a surprising number of OS-level oddities — give it a minute, then try the app again.
  3. Check for an OS update. Older iOS / Android versions sometimes lag behind on UI fixes. Settings → General → Software Update (iOS) or System → Software updates (Android).
  4. Update the app. Open the App Store or Google Play, search "TeenCycle," and tap Update if one is available.
  5. Reinstall as a last resort. Export your data first. Uninstall, reinstall, then import your data back in. This rebuilds the local storage from scratch.
  6. Still stuck? Email us. Include the steps you've already tried plus your device model and OS version — we'll take it from there.
